About Me

Hi! My name is Kimberly Stieren and I have created this blog site to talk about love, life, health, and my two biggest passions – writing and baking.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, baker of custom confections, fitness advocate, avid reader, and aspiring writer. I also love to explore different cuisines, travel as much as possible, and am a little bit of a wine fanatic. Who doesn’t love to curl up with a good book, a glass of wine, and a few yummy snacks for a little down time on a lazy day?

I believe one can never stop learning, dreaming, and aspiring to be the best version of ourselves. This is why I returned to college a little later in life to obtain my degree, a dream I have had since life issues derailed my previous attempt after high school. But life happens to us all, right? The trick is when you don’t give up on your dreams, they will eventually come true.

For me, my dream of a degree will come true in September 2020 when I graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with my bachelors in English/Creative Writing. During this journey, I came to the realization that life only happens once so why not pursue my other dreams of opening a bakery and starting a blog. I love baking sweets and interacting with others almost as much as I love writing urban fantasy stories with intriguing, and often humorous, twists.
